*Ride portion cancelled due to rain. Coffee portion still on.* Come join us for The Final Lisle Early Bird of 2024. This is a No Drop Ride that will start across the tracks from the Elmhurst YMCA. Afterwards we will be having a little get together at Pilot Petes in the Elmhurst Train Station around 7:00 AM so if you don‘t ride, please feel free to come and join us for coffee. If you ride, the route will be a fun 17 mile loop with slight inclines and descents that will take us through Elmhurst, Villa Park, and Lombard. We leave at 5:30 AM. It is dark through out the whole ride so lights and reflective clothing are mandatory. We hope to see you there!!!!

Forecast is for a cool but sunny day with little wind, so let‘s do this Blue Skies! thing one more time. You never know when it might be the last of the season... Join me for a road ride from Lombard to St. Charles, which will feature a newly-resurfaced Crescent Boulevard for your sprinting pleasure. Our midpoint rest stop will be at Panera in St. Charles. I expect to maintain the upper end of the posted rolling speed, with optional sprints. I expect to do the Munger Loop (Powis->Stearns->Munger->Smith), so anticipate total mileage closer to 50 miles. Others are always free to bypass or shorten the loop. We will face some hills, rollers, and open road with narrow shoulders, so a road bike and some road riding experience is highly recommended. Ample regroup opportunities. No one will be dropped. Please don‘t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. Route: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/43898989
