Scenic loop in the Driftless region of southwestern Wisconsin starting in Lone Rock through Richland Center, Rockbridge, Ithaca. Portions at the beginning and end on the Pine River Trail (non-paved for approximately 10 miles). Points of Interest include: Akey School Museum and Oakwood Fruit Farm, a great place to stop in the fall during apple picking season. Route is 113K (70 miles) with 3,405 feet of elevation gain (48 feet per mile of elevation gain=hilly). NOTE: There are only 2 places to get food/water at mile 13 and 46 miles (local bar so soda, water only, no food), so plan your food/water/supplies accordingly. I recommend 3 water bottles and ample food on the bike.
