Raptor Workshop / 20 mi @ 9-12 mph / Petra
Bicycling from Fox Point to Schlitz Audubon Nature Center to learn the fundamentals of identifying Wisconsin raptors! Lead by Raptor Educator, Ian Dorney, the first half of this workshop will offer an interactive exploration of birding principles, pointing out patterns and variations across groups of raptors. After a short recess, our birds of prey will join us for an overview of field marks that are used to identify a bird down to its species! Lunch afterward with a stop at the Estabrook Biergarden for lunch. https://thebeergardenmke.com/ Depending upon weather. No cancel event as we can drive to the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center.
