Hiking the Knobstone Trail in Indiana. Similar to the Appalachian trail elevation/markings but without the roots and rocks. Steep elevation. Slow pace due to steep elevation. Not easy hikes. Poles optional but strongly suggested for steep ascents, steep descents and water crossings. If you wish to join us, accommodations can be made at Hampton Inn and Suites in Scottsburg Indiana. Two drive days (Tuesday and Friday )approximately 5 hours. Short scouting hike Day one Tuesday afternoon, full day hikings Wednesday and Thursday. Short hike Friday morning and drive home. Your option to hike one two three or four hikes whatever works for your schedule. Day hiking only. No overnight hiking. Scottsburg, Indiana

Scouting hike only about 1:00 p.m. (note time change one hour difference). About 4 miles out and back.
