About this event
Come ride & enjoy the fall foliage in the Driftless region of Wisconsin on a beautiful route out of Richland Center, Wisconsin. The route is 71 miles with 3,472 feet of elevation gain (48 feet per mile of climbing) so bring your climbing legs. This is a beautiful route that includes the famous Excelsior climb that was included as part of the Coulee Challenge 1200K. You can test your climbing skills against the Coulee riders although in fairness they were on day 2 at that point. For anyone chasing new routes for the Randonneurs USA Rando Scout Award, this one will count towards a brand new route to add to your Randonneurs USA trophy case. And in the spirit of fall, everyone who attends will get a fun fall commemorative item from yours truly...think fall + apples + carmel...smile.
