About this event
Only doing the east portion (wooded area) of the Hennepin Trail for the fall colors. Starting in Princeton/ Bureau Junction area. (Will not be riding the West of Sheffield open and sunny portion.) All trail ride to either Lock 19 (29 miles) or faster riders can ride to Hennepin Canal State park 42 miles. Registration required. If no one registered I will start earlier. Out and back ride. NO water sources or food sources on trail bring enough water and food for entire ride. This is trail ride not a road ride. Just a slower pace on trail not necessarily easy. Will take sufficient breaks when necesary for the shorter ride. Need to be a faster rider for the 42 miles. Wider tire needed.NOTE TWO HOUR DRIVE from Elmhurst. Al riders must have their own spare tire and equipment to change their own tire.
