This is a fast group road ride/competition that is put on and sponsored by Christian Cycling Club Race Team (CCCRT) in Plainfield. It is an excellent ride to test out your fitness from all the hard work over the summer and there are plenty of strong riders to break the wind and pull you along.
This year for 2024, two waves will be released, spaced 15 minutes apart.
Wave 1 - (New Wave - Elite Group Ride) Donation Required Registration 50 riders max
The "Racing Elite Group" is tailored for participants seeking to compete for cash incentives. To prioritize safety, this group will be released first, considering its high level of competitiveness.
Wave 2 - "Local Legends" Volunteer Donation. 100 riders max
The "Local Legends" group will be released 15 minutes after the racing group. Embracing the spirit of Hammerfest's origins, this group honors its humble beginnings. Podium winners (1st - 3rd place) will be crowned as Hammerfest Local Legends.
