INSPYRD MOVEMENT: Randonneurs USA 200k or 100k / 124 or 63 mi @ your pace / Dawn Piech
About this event
Road trip to either Tennessee or Kansas. MUST be a member of Randonneurs USA to participate in either, and sign up via Tennessee Randonneurs if we decide to head there. Carpool option available, split cost of gas.
Two options include:
#1 Audax Club Parisien (ACP) Tennessee Randonneurs 200k in Knoxville, TN (also a 100k option): unique route for Rando Scout Award, also nice it’s an ACP event homologated by France. If you do not have TN yet as part of your American Explorer award tally, you would get it.
#2 Baxter Springs, Kansas:,200k permanent that would allow one to get in 4 states as part of American Explorer award via Randonneurs USA (RUSA): AR, MO, KS and OK. There is also a 100k route in same area that one could do too if one was not up to a 200k.
Both are between 8 hours/8:15 hours respectively from the western suburbs.
I would leave Friday am, come back Sunday evening. Carpool option available, split cost of gas.
If you are interested, direct message me and I will keep you in the loop on which option will be selected, weather dependent, of course. I will send another email privately mid-November to those who may be interested to touch base more. I currently have 2 people interested, I can take a total of 3 people with me to carpool.
