A Spring Trail Ride / 76-78 mi @ 12-14 mph / Pravin Patel

We will ride Great Western Trail, Illinois Prairie Path and Fox River Trail to Crystal Lake and back. Our stop is at the Panera Bread in Crystal Lake. This is a scouting as well as a training ride for the upcoming ‘Backpacking to Lake Geneva Ride’. Any bike with minimum 28-32mm tires is most suitable for the lime scree and paved paths. Please, bring enough water and snacks. We will make quick stops in Elgin each way. <br /><br />A rider can turn around anytime if he prefers a shorter ride.
