Metric Century TRAIL Ride to Rosie O'Hare's in E. Dundee / 62 mi @ 12-16 mph / John Riordan
About this event
We did this Fall ride in 2021 and 2022 and it was a blast. We are way overdue for another one.
At this point in the season, many riders are in great shape and yet the trails are deserted, which is awesome.
This ride will definitely be on the faster side of all of our club's trail rides, but will be nothing near a hammer fest or the speed of a road ride. I will be riding a road bike though, with 28 mm tires. I think that this might be too fast and far for fat bikes, but you be your own judge. Road bikes, hybrids, cross bikes, gravel bikes, and lighter MTB's should work.
The destination for lunch will be Rosie O'Hare's, which more than met the test in our previous visits.
