Come one, come all! This ride is open to EVERYONE!
This ride will conclude the 5th annual International Women's Day Together We Ride, sponsored by Inspyrd Movement. https://www.inspyrdmovement.org
Please bring front and rear lights.
PLAN: We will start from Noon Whistle Brewery in Lombard and head to a significant location in the women's suffrage movement in Illinois where Ellen Martin, a Lombard resident, was the first women to vote in Illinois in 1870. We will then make a social stop at Retro Glow Cycles on Main Street to tour and meet Brian Kalbfleisch (owner of the shop) for 30 minutes to meet + mingle, view bike art and also meet members of the Lombard Historical Society.
We will also pass by and have a brief stop at the Sheldon Peck Homestead once we leave Retro Glow en route back to Noon Whistle.
For those wishing to socialize more, you may stay and enjoy an appetizer and some cheer in celebration of the 113th anniversary of International Women's Day.
If you don't want to ride, feel free to meet us at either Retro Glow Cycles and/or Noon Whistle. If it rains, we will plan to still meet + mingle at Retro Glow Cycles at 5:15 pm-5:45 pm.
